Services we offer


Computers and Internet Access

InterLinc PC Lincoln City Libraries offers free access to the Internet via computers located at Bennett Martin Public Library and each branch library. Computers with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs are also available. Reservations to use computers may be made in person or online. Beginning classes in using the Internet are offered from time to time. For information on using these services, contact the Reference Department at 402-441-8530. Meeting Rooms
There are meeting rooms at Bennett Martin Public Library and Anderson, Gere, Eiseley, and Walt Branch Libraries that may be used by groups and organizations in the community. For information on reserving a meeting room, contact Administration, 402-441-8503, 10:00 - 4:30, Monday - Friday.

HOM
Home Outreach by Mail (HOM) service is provided to individuals who are unable to travel to the library because of a temporary or extended disability. Books are mailed to the customer free of charge, and provision is made for their return.

Bookmobile
Lincoln City Libraries provides bi-weekly Bookmobile service to residents in Lincoln and throughout Lancaster County. The Lincoln City Libraries Bookmobile carries approximately 2,500 titles including books, magazines, audio cassettes and large print materials. Items borrowed at the Bookmobile or any of the Lincoln City Libraries may be returned to any of the Lincoln City Libraries' locations, including the Bookmobile. Current Bookmobile schedules are available at all library units. For further information on Bookmobile service, call 402-441-8547.

Large Print Books
Materials in large print are available at all the libraries for individuals who have difficulty reading standard-size type.

Reading Edge Personal Reader
This reading device, which turns typewritten text into synthetic speech, is available for the visually impaired, blind or dyslexic. It is available on the first floor of the Bennett Martin Public Library. Print magnifiers are also available.

TDD Access
A Telecommunication Device for the Deaf is a device used by the hearing-impaired to communicate with the library via telephone lines. TDDs are available by calling Bennett Martin Public Library at 402-441-8589, Anderson branch at 402-441-8540, or Gere branch at 402-441-8560.

ZoomText Computers
Lincoln City Libraries has computers for use with our automated library catalog to assist visually impaired customers or those who have difficulty reading the print on regular terminals.
