At-Large — Adam Hornung

Summary

In addition to serving as an At-Large City Councilman in Lincoln, Nebraska, Adam is an attorney and active in community organizations, including the Downtown Rotary Club #14, the Lincoln Young Professionals, the Lincoln Bar Association, and organizing his neighborhood's annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic. Adam's wife, Nicole, works as a Mental Health Therapist at the Child Guidance Center in Lincoln and the Hornung's are the proud parents of a daughter, Ada.

    Associate - O'Melveny & Myers LLP, Los Angeles, CA and London, England (2003-2007)

    Practice has focused forming and consulting private equity funds, venture capital funds, and registered investment companies, and on mergers and acquisitions, public security financings, and corporate matters.

    Primary or secondary execution responsiblity for numerous transactions, including:

    • Representing a $2 billion fund structure focused on opportunities related to the People's Republic of China;
    • Reprersenting several fund managers (ranging from $700 million to $50 million in commitments) focused on
      • opportunities within the United States;
    • Representing the independent directors of five registed mutual funds within a $1.4 trillion mutual
      • fund complex;
    • Representing several private equity fund limited partners, including pension plans, foundations,
      • endowments, and individuals.
