'Ride for $7.50' Low Income Bus Pass Program

The 'Ride for $7.50' Low Income Bus Pass Program is only for low income people. Proof of income is required when a Pass purchase is made.
Listed below are the most common types of documentation by which an eligibility determination can be made:
- Tax return (1040) from previous year.
- Pay stub from previous month.
- W-2 form from previous year.
- Medicaid form.
- Kid's Connection.*
- WIC (Women-Infants-Children) Folder.*
- Linc. Housing Auth. Voucher Program letter with a dollar amount specified.*
- Service Point card.*
- Letter verifying TANF eligibility.
- Letter verifying Food Stamp eligibility.
- Head Start or Early Head Start parent.
- Free and reduced lunch.
- Dated incarceration discharge document; dated within 60 days.
- Check/voucher from a social services agency or faith-based organization purchasing a pass on behalf of a client.

Documentation that is not allowable includes:
- Linc. Housing Auth. letter without a dollar amount specified.
- Food Stamp card by itself.
- Work Release documentation.
