- Storage space not more than 4 motor vehicles owned and used by occupants
of building.
- May be located in the required rear yard but may not occupy more
than 40% of the required rear yard.
- Not be closer than 2 ft. to any side or rear yard.
- No more than 15 ft. in height.
- If located not less than 60 ft. from the front line, it may extend
in the required side yard but not closer than 2 ft. to the side lot
line
- A garage which is entered from an alley will not be located closer
than 10 ft. to the alley line.
- Any portion of a garage shall have an unobstructed headroom clearance
of not less than 6 feet 8 inches above the finished floor to any ceiling,
beam, pipe, or similar construction except for wall-mounted shelves,
storage surfaces, racks, or cabinets.
- Garage floor surfaces shall be of approved noncombustible material.
The area of the floor used for parking of automobiles or other vehicles
shall be sloped to facilitate the movement of liquids to a drain or
toward the main vehicle entry doorway.
