Special events with large crowds are excellent examples of venues suited for the Medi*Bikes. Other examples include: Parades Races Rallies Sporting Events Concerts Whenever you need emergency medical services standing by, the Lincoln Fire & Rescue Medi*Bike Team is Ready. With Lincoln Fire & Rescue's Medi*Bike's you get more than just advanced life support emergency medical services.	A Whole Lot More Medical: Paramedic and EMT's are fully equipped with heart monitors, defibrilators, cardiac medications and oxygen. Communication: Bike Medics have instant access via radion communications to the city/county's 911 communication center and local hospital emergency rooms. Incident Command: Ability to handle and command large scale emergencies and multiple casualty incidents. Hazardous Materials: Ability to recognize and manage Haz/Mat accidents or spills. Bicycle Safety: Bike medics have been trained by the Lincoln Police Bike Patrol on proper and safe use of bikes in emergency responses.
