Engine #13ís district encompasses Northwest and Southwest Lincoln. Their response district includes some of the following areas: Airpark, Capital Beach, Hobson Yard, West A Neighborhood, Pioneers Park, Lincoln Correctional Center, and the Penitentiary.

Engine #13 is a front line rig and responds to medical emergencies, rescue alarms, car fires, structure fires, and haz-mat calls to name a few. Engine #13 also completes business inspections, public education, station and rig tours, pre-plans, daily rig and station checks and routine maintenance on the rig and station. All personnel at Fire Station #13 complete a multitude of required training throughout the year.
