Task Force members prepare for disaster response thru many different training activities. Some of these are training activities that relate directly with the daily workplace responsibilities as fire/rescue personnel, emergency managers, emergency room physicians, and other specialities.

In addition to routine training, special training specific to USAR is conducted, both locally and at the national level. Task Force members have also participated in training with neighboring Task Forces, in Indiana, Colorado, and Missouri.
