Animal Control Division City Letter Head
Presentations have been designed to educate the audience about public safety, Animal Control, and animal topics in general. The programs may vary in length depending on the size of the audience and if a video is used, the presentations usually last about 30 minutes. All presentations can be geared to fit your group and time frame.

Animal Control has equipment for films and videos if none are available at your facility. Handouts are also available. There is not a fee and presentations are limited to the Lincoln area.

To arrange a presentation, contact Animal Control at 441-7900. We will be glad to schedule a time that will be convenient for you and your group.

You can pick from a ready made presentation or design your own program. The best program would be a combination of 45 minute presentations on various topics. This would give your group a full range of information and allow the group to get to know the Animal Control Officer.

Examples of combination programs are:

  • Bites: Animal Safety and Bite Prevention
  • Rabies: The Unknown Killer & What to do If You are Bitten
  • What is Animal Control and Why Are We Here
  • Pet Owner Responsibility
  • Choosing the Best Pet for You, Pet Care & Training
  • The Veterinarian
  • Wildlife
....or plan your own curriculum and let Animal Control open the world of pets and people to your group.
