HISTORY

The Asian population is the fastest-growing ethnic population in Lincoln, and now there is a community center to support their needs.
In 1992, under the auspices of the Lincoln Interfaith Council, organization began for the Asian Community and Cultural Center and on October 1, 1994, the Center opened its doors at 140 S. 27th Street to the public.
In March 1998, ACCC became an Independent 501 (C) (3) Non Profit Corporation.
The Asian Community & Cultural Center is a program partially funded by the Lincoln-Lancaster United Way with the Lincoln Interfaith Council as our Fiscal Agent.

OUR MISSION

The Asian Community and Cultural Center (“ACCC”) is a charitable, educational and cultural organization created to preserve and increase public awareness of the rich multicultural heritage of Asian people. It strives to cultivate harmonious coexistence between Asians and the community-at-large by building bridges of understanding between them and by offering all people an opportunity to share involvement in its socially enriching activities
