What is the difference between the different search options?

Keywords are words or short phrases describing the program service. When a user selects a keyword all programs that have the selected keyword attached are displayed in alphabetical order.

Agencies vs Programs:
Agencies are the organizations that run service programs. One agency could run several service programs.
Example: Agency: American Red Cross vs Program: Disaster Services

What is the difference between 'contains' and 'begins with' search option?

Contains means: the word and/or phrase you type-in could be anywhere in the Keyword or Program's/Agency's name.
Keyword Example: Type 'Safety', and seven keywords are found (Bicycle Safety Education; Child Passenger Safety Seats; Driving Safety Education; Food, Safety Education; General Safety Education; Occupational Health and Safety; Water Safety Education)

Begins with means: the word and/or phrase you type-in is found at the start of the keyword or program's/agency's name.
Keyword Example: Type Bicycle, and only one keyword is found (Bicycle Safety Education)

How do I get a list of Keywords that start with the letter 'b'?

Just type-in a 'b' in the Keyword Search, click on the 'begins with' option, and then click on the Search Keyword button.

Why do I get the following message on the keyword search: 'Search in the Next Larger Geographical Area' ?

You can narrow the program search from the All Areas (default) to a smaller geographical search (Zip, City, County, State). A Program List will appear with matching programs in alphabetical order. At the end of the list you will find a message 'Search in the Next Larger Geographical Area'. Select the option if you need to expand your search to a larger geographical area.
