City Libraries
Lincoln City Libraries provides bi-weekly Bookmobile service to residents
in Lincoln and throughout Lancaster Country. The Bookmobile carries
approximately 4,000 titles, including books, magazines, books on tape,
large-print materials and videos.
For further information on Bookmobile service, call 441-8545.
The Bookmobile makes stops on a City route and a Lancaster County route on
alternating weeks. The service is provided Tuesdays through Saturdays. View
the Bookmobile schedule.
Bookmobile service is a means of reaching areas of the community which are remote from existing libraries. Service schedules are continually examined in relation to community needs, and adjusted to provide service at the points of greatest need.
The Lincoln City Libraries provides Bookmobile service to both city and county stops. Although Lincoln City Libraries are city owned and operated, county residents living outside Lincoln help support the library through their taxes, paying for the service in proportion to their population.
