Loren Corey Eiseley, renowned anthropologist, naturalist, philosopher, poet
and essayist, spent much of his childhood reading in our Lincoln City
Libraries. His boyhood wanderings across the very fields where the namesake
library now stands introduced to him the natural world that became the focus
of his acclaimed writings.
