The City of Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Solid Waste Management facilities follow Federal, State and Local compliance regulations in order to protect the environment and all human health and safety; including those that use and work at our facility. Our Division is committed to providing responsible management of all solid waste generated within Lancaster County in a cost effective manner and in compliance with its solid waste management plan.

The Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste Landfill allows vehicles of any size hauling concrete rubble, soil, brick, or shingles.
All incoming loads must be covered and secured (LMC 8.32.070) to help reduce litter and blowing debris.

Material Length Policy
Disposal length of material should be 6’ in length. Review policy and exceptions here.
Material Requirements
This site accepts concrete rubble, soil, bricks and shingles.
Although this site is permitted as a C&D waste landfill, the City has chosen to be more restrictive and will not accept the following materials at the facility:
- C&D with large quantities of paper, gypsum board, rubber, plastics and asphalt
- Treated wood
- C&D loads containing more than 50% wood waste, and furnishings from demolished structure (furniture, wall, window, carpet).
