WELCOME
Our facility is located in the Belmont Recreation Center. We have several different activities and events offered each month. We like meeting new friends, please come and join us!
SERVICES
Transportation: Transportation is provided within a specific boundary area. Call the center for details, 402-441-7990. If you would like to use the van, the suggested contribution is only $2 each way, ($4 round trip). Please call 402-441-7863 the day before you need the van to schedule your pick up time.
My Center News: Aging Partners monthly "My Center News" is filled with monthly activities and events. These newsletters
are available for free at your
local senior center or by mail for a suggested contribution of $6 per year for those 60+ An $8 fee
for those under age 60. Call 402-441-7790 for details.
Exercise: Fitness is offered through a walking track, equipment and a class within the Center.

Where is the Belmont Senior Center located?

What Hours are you open?
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
How often do you ever close during your regular hours of operation?
Not often, but in case of severe weather the rule is - anytime Lincoln Public Schools close, the senior centers
will also close. Listen to your local radio station for information.
How old do I have to be to attend an senior center?
- You have to be old enough to enjoy being with friends.
- You have to be old enough to enjoy sharing a meal with others.
- You have to be old enough to enjoy learning new things.
- You have to be old enough to give some of your time.
- The encouraged age to receive meals is 60 years old.
How do I make a reservation to eat at the center?
Call the center two days prior to the day you wish eat at the center. For example, if
you wish to eat at the center on Thursday, call on Tuesday to make a reservation.
How do I join and does it cost?
Individuals wanting to participate in activities at the center are asked to fill out an
intake form the first time they come to the center. The availability of some services begin
at age 60 and others at age 50. There is no membership fee.
How can I volunteer my services?
There are many opportunities to volunteer at the Belmont Senior Center, simply call the center and speak with the center manager. You may contact RSVP at 402-441-7026.
