Tickets are available for "10 Score," the City's celebration of Abraham Lincoln's 200th Birthday, from the Lied Center box office, 12th and "R" streets (472-4747, toll-free 800-432-3231, TDD 472-4721). Tickets will be required for three events, all beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Lied Center:
- A concert by the Jay Ungar and Molly Mason Family Band Thursday, February 12.
- "Civil War Voices," a new musical written by Lincoln attorney Jim Harris based on Civil War correspondence, Friday, February 13.
- A free forum Sunday, February 15 with Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of "Team of Rivals: the Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln."
Tickets for the performances February 12 and 13 are $15 for adults and $10 for children and students (those over age 18 must show student identification). Free advance tickets to the Goodwin forum will first be available only to those purchasing tickets for both Thursday's and Friday's events ($30 total). A limited number of the free forum tickets will be distributed though this promotion. Beginning Thursday, January 15, the rest of the free forum tickets will be available on a first-come basis from the Lied Center.
All tickets will be for open general admission seating. The Lied box office is open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
