"Bill Byrne has worked very hard for the University of Nebraska, and his accomplishments have been good for the City of Lincoln. In particular, the Haymarket Park baseball and softball complex is a lasting symbol of the partnership we were able to forge among the University, the City and the private sector. The park would not have been possible without the cooperation and commitment of Bill, and it was a pleasure to work with him on this community project.
