Mayor Announces Plans for "Patriot Day Lincoln Remembers"
Logo for Patriot Day -- Sept. 11 Mayor Don Wesely today encouraged Lincoln area residents to observe the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America by attending "Patriot Day Lincoln Remembers," a community memorial ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 at the Pinewood Bowl in Pioneers Park. The event will feature music by the 50-member 43rd Army Band based in Lincoln and a naturalization ceremony for new American citizens.

City and NAGE Sign Three-Year Contract

Mayor Appoints Krout New Planning Director
New Planning Director Marvin Krout Mayor Don Wesely July 16th announced his selection of Marvin S. Krout as Director of the Lincoln- Lancaster County Planning Department, pending approval from the City Council and County Board.
