Mayor Don Wesely today encouraged Lincoln area residents to observe the one-year
anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America by attending "Patriot Day – Lincoln
Remembers," a community memorial ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 at the
Pinewood Bowl in Pioneers Park. The event will feature music by the 50-member
43rd Army Band based in Lincoln and a naturalization ceremony for new American
citizens.
