Frogs Find Freedom in Lincoln’s Sunken Garden
|
Mayor Coleen Seng was joined by former Mayor Don Wesely in planting welcome kisses on two 500-pound
limestone frogs in a ceremony at Lincoln's Sunken Gardens on Thursday. The frogs
are an integral part of the Sunken Gardens Renovation Project. The kisses were
the result of Wesely's pledge to "pucker up" if the money could be raised to bring
the frogs to Lincoln on a permanent basis. Click on the photo to view more pictures.

Mayor's Arts Awards

Mayor Seng addressed a crowd of more than 400 people at the 25th annual Mayor's
Arts Awards ceremony June 4 at the Lied Center. Also on stage are emcees Ward Jacobson
