"LIVE AND LEARN" Plans Live Call-In Show

"Live and Learn," a video magazine show produced by Aging Services, will present a special live call-in show at 1 p.m., Friday April 16. "Where Do I Go For Answers on Aging?" will feature Aging Services Director June Pederson and a panel of experts. The program is shown on 5 CITY-TV, the local government access cable channel.

Pedersen said some of the issues that could be discussed include finances, in-home services, volunteering, senior centers, healthy living classes, Medicare, prescription drugs, transportation and caregiving. She said the call-in show is designed to connect older adults and their families with the options and services available.

The numbers to call in questions are 441-7432 and 441-6688. Questions also can be submitted through email at 5CITYTV@lincoln.ne.gov.

The show will be repeated in April and May on 5 CITY-TV. Schedules for "Live and Learn" are available on the City web site at lincoln.ne.gov. "Where Do I Go For Answers on Aging?" will also be available at the Bennett Martin Public Library and through 5 CITY-TVís video-on-demand service through the City web site.

Aging Services/Lincoln Area Agency on Aging serves the eight-county service area of Butler, Fillmore, Lancaster, Polk, Saline, Saunders, Seward and York Counties.
