Mayor Promotes Childhood Immunizations

Mayor Seng signed a proclamation for Infant Immunization Awareness Week with children from the early childhood day care program at UNL.


Mayor Seeks Concealed Weapon Ban

Mayor Seng announced April 20 that she will seek a ban on concealed weapons in the City of Lincoln. With the Mayor are Police Chief Tom Casady and City Attorney Dana Roper.


Mayor Advances Sex Offender Residency Restrictions

Mayor Seng and Police Chief Casady discussed the proposed City ordinance on sex offender residency restrictions at the police briefing May 1.


Swimming Pool Safety

Mayor Seng discussed swimming pool safety at a news conference May 4. Also speaking were, from the left, Leon Marquart, Environmental Health Specialist, Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department; Susan Epps, Co-chair, Safe Kids Lincoln-Lancaster County (with grandson); and Melissa Pavlish, Family Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Safety Task Force.


Peace Officers' Memorial Day

Mayor Seng participated in ceremonies marking National Police Week and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day May 15 at the Justice and Law Enforcement Center.
