The public is invited to an open house the evening of Thursday, May 3 to discuss the City’s use of $2.9 million in federal entitlements to be administered by the City Urban Development Department in the 2007-2008 fiscal year. The meeting is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Center Team Police station at 27th and Holdrege streets.

Each year, the Urban Development Department develops a one-year action plan to define goals and objectives for the federal entitlements for the upcoming fiscal year. Public input and opinion are critical parts of the action plan process. At the open house, Urban Development staff will be available to discuss the proposed programs and projects and listen to feedback. Light refreshments will be served.
