	State of the City Address August 30, 2007 Mayor Beutler delivered his first State of the City address August 30 in the Council Chambers.

	Grants Awarded to Housing Projects August 30, 2007 Mayor Chris Beutler and Jennifer Buxton, Executive Director the Lincoln Action Program Housing Development Corporation (LAPHDC), announced August 30 that the Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded $898,200 in grant funds to LAPHDC for three housing projects in the Clinton and Hartley neighborhoods.

	Agreement Reached to Pave Alvo Road September 14, 2007 Mayor Beutler announced September 14 that the City, Lancaster County and NEBCO have reached a conceptual agreement to provide 1.5 miles of paved road linking two planned schools in north Lincoln.
