The City Recycling Office today announced that 4,865 holiday trees were deposited at seven tree recycling sites in the City. Hofeling Enterprises, 2200 S. Folsom Court, donated tree grinding services and has distributed close to 350 cubic yards of tree mulch to the public. Hofeling Enterprises will continue to accept holiday trees at its facility free of charge during normal business hours through the end of January.
This was the 26th year for the City's tree recycling program. During that time, about 210,500 trees have been recycled.
