Interviews conducted by the late Don Gill are featured in a new program airing on 5 CITY-TV, the City's government access channel. The program will be aired for the first time at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 8. The veteran broadcaster who passed away January 3 was a volunteer host on the channel's "Live and Learn" program from 2004 to 2011. Aging Partners sponsors and produces the program.
In an introduction to the special program, Aging Partners Director June Pederson said, "Viewers enjoyed Don's deep baritone voice and rich broadcasting experience as he conducted countless interviews on topics of interest to Lincoln's senior population. This show includes some of Don's more memorable 'Live and Learn' segments. We hope you enjoy them as we look back and remember our friend, Don Gill."
The program will air multiple times on 5 CITY-TV and will be available through video-on-demand and YouTube. Program guides and video-on-demand programs are available at lincoln.ne.gov (click on the 5 CITY-TV icon).
