The public is invited to an open house Thursday, August 21 on the proposed project to replace the existing N. 10th Street bridge over Salt Creek. The informational meeting is from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Indian Center, 1100 Military Road.
In addition to bridge replacement, the project includes roadway reconstruction from just south of Military Road to just south of Sun Valley Boulevard on 10th Street. The project also includes the construction of a sidewalk on the east side of 10th Street between Military and Sun Valley that would connect to Haymarket Trail.
At the open house, the public will have the opportunity to meet with project representatives and learn more about the project. Comment forms will be provided. If you are unable to attend the meeting and have questions or comments, contact Kris Humphrey at 402-326-1176 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2016 and will take about one year to complete, weather permitting. The project is funded by a combination of federal and local dollars.
