The Pioneers Park Nature Center staff are urging the public to use the east entrance to Pioneers Park at 3201 Coddington when attending the Nature Center's Wild Fall Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday October 9. The north entrance off Van Dorn should be avoided due to the large number of participants and spectators expected for the Centennial Conference cross country meet that begins at 2 p.m.
After entering the park, the public should turn left at the split in the road just before Pinewood Bowl. That road will take drivers around the Bowl and the pond area before connecting with the road to the Nature Center. (Click to download map.)
The Wild Fall Festival includes live animals, hands-on activities, food vendors, a campfire and hayrack rides for $3 per person.
