	Acquisition of Prairie and Grasslands at Pioneers Park Nature Center The acquisition of 228 acres of native prairie and grasslands allows Parks and Recreation to provide educational and exploration opportunities of the native landscape and wildlife of eastern Nebraska.
	Parker's Pals Scholarships for low-income youth Parker' s Pals scholarships provide low-income youth a chance to participate in programs facilitated by the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department.
	Park Middle School Teen Center This partnership with the Lincoln Public Schools converted an unfinished space into a before-and-after school activity center for teens. Call 326-1167 for more information about the center.
	Jamaica North Trail Bridge This bridge is along a 6.5 mile abandoned rail corridor from 27th and Saltillo Road, connecting north to downtown Lincoln. This bridge was converted from an existing railroad bridge for trail use.
