The Pioneers Park Nature Center is a perfect place for young children to learn colors, counting, shapes, size, and spatial awareness through nature exploration. Our caring staff has a strong commitment to both the environment and to active learning. Your child's individual strengths and talents will be nurtured through a wide variety of daily activities in a class of only 12 students. The Nature Center Preschool serves children ages three to five years old. Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday/Friday morning or afternoon sessions are offered September through May. Morning sessions are held from 9:00 - 11:30 am, tuition is $78/month. Afternoon sessions are held from 12:30 - 2:30 pm, tuition is $63/month. An annual enrollment fee of $40 must accompany registration and will be credited to the May payment. Registration is a contract for a full school year.

Nature Center Pre-K Program

Designed to support a child's transition from preschool to kindergarten. In addition to the Nature Center Preschool's emphasis on outdoor exploration, the curriculum will focus on

• letter recognition and printing
• phonics and sight words
• journaling
• numbers and math skills
• music and movement

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 - 11:30 am, September - May

Tuition is $115/month with an annual enrollment fee of $40 that will be credited to the May payment.

Open enrollment for the 2008-09 school year begins February 1st, 2008.
