Airborne

(1998) The Airborne Memorial Monument is an embodiment of the ideals of justice, freedom, and democracy for which all Americans believe. May we bear in mind the comrades who have gone before us, that their memory may dwell in this hollowed place and be a constant blessing amung us. It is our hope and desire that this edifice may be a constant reminder to us and all people who look upon it, may do so with a feeling of great pride. To dedicate this monument, and perpetual Memorial to the glorious Paratroopers and Glidermen both living and deceased, who offered themselves, who in a special way came from the sky, and fell upon the enemy, like the devils they were and came to be feared for their courage and bravery. For God and Country.
