Room & Building Rentals
Our cafeteria, kitchen, gym and classrooms are available to rent for parties, reunions and meetings. Call for more information about booking your event.

Team Practice Times
We begin taking reservations every Wednesday at 9am for Thursday through the following Wednesday.

Basketball

Programs for Youth

Youth Drop-In
Mid Level - High School students.
Days: Monday-Friday
Time: 4:30-9pm   |   Fee: Free
School's Out - K-5 grades

After School Recreation (Keyword: After School)
Focuses on self-defense through stretching, accuracy, and cardiovascular training. Provides a sense of honor, integrity and respect for elders/superiors, perseverance and self control. Parents are welcome to sign up and take the class with their child. Taught by Michael Melhorn. (Class will not meet on April 20.) Click on the the class title to view class times and fees.

Ages: Elementary aged youth
Time: School Dismissal -6p
Fees: $97.00 per month (Title XX accepted and Scholarships available)

Kids Day Off (Keyword: day off)
Program is offered on days when school is not in session during the school year. Advanced registration is required. Participants are asked to wear active clothing and footwear. All participants must bring a sack lunch, A snack and an early evening supper will be provided. For more information, see our Program Guide or register by clicking on the class title.

Ages: Elementary aged youth

Beginning Taekwondo: Ages 5-12(Keyword: Martial arts)

Ballet (Keyword: dance)
Learn basic ballet steps, balance and coordination. Ballet slippers are recommended. Click on the the class title to view class times and fees.

Gear-tech 21 LEGO® Robotics (Keyword: lego)
Build and program simple robots using a LEGO® MINDSTORMS NXT kit. Participants will learn how to use a Handheld GPS receiver, to plot a course, follow a trail and find hidden objects. This program will start Late September and will continue to take team members throughout the year. Click on the the class title to view class times and fees.

Programs for Families

Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Sign up as individuals, partners, or as a family. Meet at Oak Lake, located at Sun Valley Blvd and Charleston Street. Look for the rack of canoes to the north of the parking lot. Fee will be collected at the event. Fishing equipment will be available for use with valid fishing license for those 16 and older. Event will not be rescheduled if cancelled due to inclement weather.

Programs for Adults

Tai Chi(Keyword: Tai chi)
Tai Chi is an ancient martial art that has proven health benefits. This class has been modified for adults who have problems with mobility or balance. Participants are taught simple movements that are performed slowly. Click on the the class title to view class times and fees.

Basic Computer Skills: Ages 55+
Class will focus on use of Microsoft Word, Email, and Internet Usage. An emphasis will be made on Internet Safety as well. Each class will be 30 minutes of group instruction and 30 minutes of practice and questions. Call the center to register.

Fun & Free Activities for Older Adults

Senior Pitch Tournament
Thirteen point pitch will be played. Call the center to register in advance.

Time: 10a-2p   |   Fee: $6 (includes lunch)

Senior Potlucks
Register at least two days in advance of each meal in person or over the phone. We provide the main dish; participants can bring a covered dish to share or pay $6. Pot lucks are held on Thursdays.
Date: Thanksgiving Pot Luck – November 20th   |   Time: 11:30a (Thanksgiving),
Date: Holiday Pot Luck - December 18th   |   Time: Choir Performs at 11:00a and meal at 11:30a

Walk with Ease
The Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease Program is a exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease.
