Supervised Play & Day Camp Programs


Supervised Play & Day Camp Programs Lincoln Parks and Recreation offers a variety of Supervised Programs for children throughout the year. All our programs have adult supervision. Most programs include activities such as sports, games, crafts, nature activities, movies, holiday parties, stories and songs. Some programs such as Kids Day Off even offer field trips. Holiday Fun Festival and Kids Day Off are fun play days for those days when Public Schools are not in session. Supervised Play & Day Camp Programs offer a Sliding Rate Fee and Multiple Child Discounts. We would be happy to serve you and your family. Summer Playgrounds

The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department will again be offering summer playgrounds. There will be several locations offering sessions in the mornings. This program is open for children who are completing K - 5th grades. The staff will plan and lead a diverse array of activities to provide a fun atmosphere, as well as developing participants' sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, and social skills. Activities will include games, sports, crafts, stories, songs, field trips, and much more.

Language Immersion Camp

Language Immersion summer day camp is for children in grades K-5. This camp will provide an opportunity to learn the Spanish language in a fun day camp setting. All activities, games, arts, and crafts will be planned and spoken in Spanish. Students join in fun field trips, swimming and more.

Theater Fun Camp

The focus is on FUN in this rockin’ camp that will give you all the basics of theater: games, warm-ups, acting, improvisation, movement, theater history, monologues, scenes, makeup, costumes, dance, and more! We will tour local theaters, see as many performances as possible and learn from the many talented theater people in the community. You can come for one week or all nine! Besides being fun, theater teaches many important skills for life like teamwork, listening, creativity, responsibility, leadership, confidence, self-esteem and self-respect. We will also go swimming, go to the park, play games, do arts and crafts activities and make new friends!

Before and After School Recreation

Supervised, organized play for kids K - 5th. Activities will include: OMovies, sports, games, crafts, nature activities, stories, songs, social skills, and academic activities! Bring tennis shoes.

Sliding Rate Fee:
(Consideration based on income and size of household.) Complete a registration form and a sliding fee form that is available at all recreation centers, the main Parks and Recreation Office, or the Playground office. Forms must be submitted with proof of income (recent paycheck stub or tax return). Contact the Playground Office at 441-7952 to determine amount you will pay. Families receiving a sliding fee rate cannot receive the multiple child discount. Program is approved to accept Title XX.

Multiple Child Discount:
Base Fee applies to the first child. Each additional child from the same family is $5.00 off the Base Fee.

Pre-Registration:
Payment for first session must accompany completed registration form. You may register for any or all of the sessions now. Indicate which sessions you want your child to attend. Payment for later sessions required BEFORE the first day of each session.

Register Early! We reserve the right to limit the number of registrations.
