We are asking that you observe the following regulations:
- Sunken Gardens has a MAXIMUM guest list of 75. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- The times scheduled for your rehearsal and wedding MUST include your setup time, cleanup time and time for pictures.
- Anyone in the area who is not part of your wedding party cannot be made to leave as this is a public park.
- A total of ten (10) chairs are allowed for the elderly or handicapped. Everyone must stay on the sidewalks.
- Please do not damage the turf/grass area. People in attendance must stay in the walk areas.
- Litter created by your wedding must be cleaned up by your party.
- You will be responsible for any damage resulting from your ceremony and the charge will be assessed accordingly.
- A $50 (check or cash) damage deposit is required 2 weeks prior to date of wedding.
- DO NOT STAND IN THE FLORAL DISPLAYS. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO FLORAL DISPLAYS CAUSED BY YOUR CEREMONY.
- The use of stakes, tents/awnings or other moveable items must be approved by the Parks and Recreation Department.
- All cars must be parked in the parking lot north of the gardens, or on the side streets.
- No alteration can be made in fountains or water falls.
- No electrical outlets are available.
- NO alcoholic beverages are permitted.
- REMINDER: Do not pick any flowers for your ceremony. Please remember they are park property and to be enjoyed by all the public.
To reduce any chances of conflict with your wedding schedule, please keep the Park Use Application with you as verification of your reservation.
In case of cancellation due to inclement weather or change of plans, please notify this office immediately. To receive a refund, please notify our office within two (2) weeks after the reserved date and we will send you a refund request form. A $15.00 processing fee will be assessed to all refunds.
