Historic Preservation Commission Agenda

 

The City of Lincoln Historic Preservation Commission will hold a 
scheduled public meeting on Thursday, July 21, 2005.  The meeting will convene at 1:30 p.m. in Room 106, 
1st floor, New County-City Building, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, to consider the following agenda.

Agenda of July 21, 2005
1. Approve meeting notes for June 16, 2005. 2. Opportunity for persons with limited time or with an item not appearing on the agenda to address the Commission. DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION 3. Application by Licorice International for Certificate of Appropriateness for work at the Huber/Port Huron Building, 801 Q Street in the Haymarket Landmark District. 4. Application by 8th Street Ironworks for a sidewalk café at 301 N. 8th Street. 5. Application by John C. Ball for a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at the Professor Candy House, a designated landmark at 1003 H Street. 6. Review of nomination to the National Register of Historic Places of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity House, Nebraska Wesleyan University, 5305 Huntington Avenue. OTHER 7. Miscellaneous/staff report: Downtown Design Guidelines, Havelock Avenue Landmark District, Harris Overpass replacement, etc.
