Constructed in 1888 and expanded in 1907, this small house is significant as the residence of Professor A. L. Candy of University of Nebraska from the 1890s to 1945. Professor Candy was not only a prominent mathematician, but also a Lincoln alderman and a long-time member of the Board of Social Welfare.
