East Campus Neighborhood Landmark District
Boundary/Address: Bounded generally by Idylwild Drive, Apple Street, North 40th Street, and Holdrege Street Designation: Local Landmark
This lovely residential area was platted in the 1910s and 1920s when the University of Nebraska's Agricultural Experiment Station was maturing into an academic campus focusing on agricultural education. Many of the builders and early residents of these homes were connected with East Campus including deans and professors.
