| This Neo-Classical Revival church was highly innovative when it was built in 1907 for its use of concrete blocks as its primary building material. Concrete blocks were becoming common in early 20th century Lincoln for foundations and retaining walls, but relatively few houses and only a tiny number of churches utilized it for whole buildings. This church further demonstrates architect Fiske's scope of practice in terms of building types, styles, and even materials. | |
