Park Hill is an outstanding early example of the Colonial Revival style, built in 1896 and attributed to the architectural partnership of Artemas Roberts and A. W. Woods, who also designed 'Fairview' for William Jennings Bryan in 1902. The house stands on a unique 3.4 acre lot. Dr. A. O. Faulkner, founder of Woodmen Accident Company, occupied the house with his family from about 1900 until his death in 1927.
