(335 K) amendment to the Skyline Rolling Hills Community Unit Plan, to
revise the street and lot layout, with requests to waive roadway width and roundabout design, on
property generally located at S. 14th Street and Pine Lake Road.

recommendation: CONDITIONAL APPROVAL, as set forth in the staff report dated August 20,
2003, with amendment deleting Condition #1.2.2, at the request of the applicant, 7-0. Site

1.2 Special Permit No. 671B,
(365 K) amendment to the Wassung Park Community Unit Plan, to reduce
the side yard setback, on property located at 3921 and 3923 N. 8th Street.

Change of Zone No. 3416, from R-4 Residential District to R-2 Residential District, requested by the
Witherbee Neighborhood Association, on property generally located at S. 37th Street and J Street.

9-3-03; Planning Commission voted 7-0 to waive rules and remove from the pending list and take
action.
9-3-03: Motion to reconsider carried 7-0. Planning Commission recommendation: DENIAL, with
caveat to City Council that this change of zone be placed on the City Council pending list for three
months, and that the Council direct the Planning Department to conduct a study (5-2: Bills-Strand,
Krieser, Duvall, Marvin and Steward voting 'yes'; Carlson and Taylor voting 'no'). Public hearing
