Commercial Business Truck Burglars Arrested

The following is a summary of burglaries that occurred the past two nights where entry was gained into the businesses by the suspects driving a truck through the front door of the buildings.

VIP Limousine 2124 Y Street 7-27-05 3:41 a.m. After driving their vehicle through the front of the business suspects removed helmets, motorcycle parts and keys. Loss is estimated at $530.00 and damage to the business was about $1000.00.

CJs Paintball 1075 N. 33rd Street 7-27-05 3:54 a.m. Once entry was gained by driving a truck through the front door to the business suspects removed paintball guns for a loss of $1770.00 and damages of about $1000.00.

The Gun Store 302 S. 19th Street 7-28-05 3:29 a.m. Vehicle rammed the back door area but entry into the business was not gained. A back storage area was accessed and some items were removed but access to guns was not gained. No total on the loss or damage estimate at this time.

Acher Arms 1334 S. 33rd Street 7-28-05 3:39 a.m. Officers observed a pickup preparing to ram the front entrance to the business. Officers attempted to contact the vehicle and it fled northbound on 33rd to Potter.

Two men exit the truck at 33rd and Potter and run on foot. The two are located by police K-9 at 3:50 a.m. and have been identified as:

Luke L. Deitemeyer 3-4-81 (24) 2430 R Street #4 arrested for Burglary, and Flee to Avoid Arrest
Mark A. Light 9-3-80 (24) 913 F Street #1 arrested for Burglary.
