Dewayne Bush, age 41, of Lincoln applied for and received $2358.00 from FEMA for disaster assistance through the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. Mr. Bush received this money in November after reporting that he lived in Gulfport Mississippi during the hurricance and suffered personal lost and was in need of housing assistance. It was determined that Dewayne Bush was living in Lincoln at the time of the hurricane and had used the address of an acquaintance to apply for the assistance. Bush did not suffer any loss from the hurricane. Dewayne Bush was arrested on January 3, 2006 for Felony Theft by Deception.
