The Lincoln Police Department arrested Richard Allen Garcia, age 47 on February 8th 2007 for providing false information on a conceal handgun permit application, a Class IV Felony. Richard Allen Garcia applied for a conceal handgun permit on January 10th 2007. On the application for the permit, Garcia answered no to the question of whether he had been convicted for a crime of violence. Through a check of Richard Garcia’s records the Lincoln Police Department discovered that Richard Allen Garcia was arrested for Attempted 1st Degree Sexual Assault and 2nd Degree False Imprisonment. Garcia was ultimately convicted for 3rd degree assault in April of 1987.
