Lincoln Police Investigating Homicide in Southeast Lincoln
On 10-15-08, at 2:40pm, Lincoln Police were sent to Ameritas at 5900 O Street. A man, later identified as Eric Brox, was causing a disturbance at the business. Witnesses reported that he urinated in the lobby. Officers took Eric Brox into custody. He was in possession of his mother’s car and financial documents. During the investigation, he made comments about his seventy-two year old mother, Zoe Brox, that concerned officers. Lincoln Police subsequently went to Zoe Brox’ residence, 8110 Imperial Circle, to check her welfare. She was found deceased in the garage of her home. The cause of death is not being released at this time but she appears to be the victim of a homicide. Eric Brox has been lodged at the Lancaster County Jail for 1st degree Murder.
