Traffic Enforcement Project Summary

The Lincoln Police Department conducted its “End of School” traffic selective project as well as the national 'Click it or Ticket' campaign, May 19th through June 1st, 2008. This project, funded by a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, was conducted during the last two weeks of school. The funding provided for additional officers to be placed in school zones to enforce the flashing 25 m.p.h. speed limit as well as enforce the state seatbelt law. The Lincoln Police Department issued the following citations during the two week project.
