"End of School" Traffic Enforcement Project Results
The Lincoln Police Department recently concluded its annual End of School" Traffic Enforcement Project. This project was conducted over two separate weeks: April 2- April 6, 2012 and April 30 -May 4, 2012. The increased enforcement, funded by a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety, allowed for the placement of additional officers each day, at and around Lincoln elementary schools for the purpose of traffic and pedestrian safety.
The project produced the following results:
