Some people using the Kodak viewer that comes with Windows98, must
change the size setting in the print option. To do this, click on the PRINT
icon on the viewers toolbar, then click on the OPTION box in the print dialog box.
Next, change the option "actual size" to "fit to page". Click on OK in the print options box,
then OK in the print dialog box.

Accidents are entered in "batch" mode, during the
morning hours of the day. The upload process for the images occurs after all
of the day's reports are entered. If you are looking for a very recent report,
it is possible that is hasn't yet been uploaded into the viewing area.
After a weekend or holiday break, it might take one or two days to enter those
accidents, however, most weekends, reports will be available by late Monday afternoon.
Can I only see page one of the report?.
No. We provide all pages of your accident report in the image file, but how you
display the next pages may vary according to the viewer you are using. Most
viewers have a small "box" in the toolbar line at the top of the window that
shows the number "1". Next to that box, is an arrow. Usually by clicking on
that arrow, the next page will be displayed.
Why did we put accident reports on line?
We are attempting to provide the citizens of Lincoln
with accident information without having to drive to the Police department,
find a place to park, and pay a $2 copy fee. Although our fee was much lower
than most other agencies in the state, we felt that if you have the capability
to find the information yourself, you should be able to view or print a copy
without the extra inconvenience or charge. We have since discontinued charging for
accident copies.
