Officer Kirk McAndrew has been an officer with LPD since September of 1986. Prior to his arrival at the Lincoln Police Department Officer McAndrew was with the Kearney Police Department for 3 1/2 years. Officer McAndrew is from Columbus Nebraska where he graduated from High School and was an individual state champion in wrestling. He attended college at Kearney State College and received his Bachelors is Criminal Justice. Kirk is married with two teen children and is excited about being the SRO at Lincoln High. Officer McAndrew's goal is to provide a safe campus environment for the students and staff and to provide a resource for their concerns.
