Monthly Parking Availability Online
Our current technology allows us to maximize parking facility spaces both efficiently and effectively. Last year approximately 1.8 million parking stalls were used.
City of Lincoln Parking is making finding monthly parking more convenient. The City of Lincoln Web site has been updated to include the number of available spots at each garage. These numbers will be based on the previous month's availability, which will vary each 30-day period.

Harris Overpass Construction
The 'O' Street overpass was closed to traffic on November 12, 2007. Traffic has been detoured as follows:
- From South to Downtown: Take 'O' Street to Rosa Parks Way west to Highway 77, then north to West 'O' Street.
- From North to Downtown: Take I-180 north to Cornhusker Highway, west on Cornhusker to 1st Street, then south on 1st Street, which turns into Charleston Street, to Sun Valley Boulevard, south on Sun Valley to West 'O' Street.
- Walkways across 'O' Street are now available for pedestrians.

the new Public Relations Manager. If she looks familiar, it's because you may have seen her when leaving the parking garages. Katey worked as a cashier for Republic Parking since October 2005. She was promoted to Office Assistant in August, then to Public Relations Manager in October. Some of her duties include working on newsletters, selling advertisements, and promoting the iPark program. She's had quite a year from studying abroad in Denmark to her recent promotions. Katey will complete her bachelors degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Communication Studies in December 2007.

Republic Employee of the Month
Ashley Utterback is the Republic Parking Employee of the Month for November. She has worked for Republic Parking for eight months. Ashley is from Fremont, Nebraska, but has lived in Lincoln for the past 11 years. She says her favorite part of being a cashier is the interaction with the various customers that come through the garage. In her spare time, Ashley likes to read and create arts and crafts. Her future plans are to become a hair stylist and own her own 1967 GTO. For her excellent effort and help covering numerous shifts, Ashley has been awarded a $25.00 Gift Card to Best Buy.
