Our New Location: 850 'Q' Street
City of Lincoln Parking Services & Development
We are pleased to announce that the City of Lincoln Parking Services will soon be moving to the Historic Haymarket District on September 1. Our new location will be 850 "Q" Street. Construction began last May on the 3,000 square feet facility. This move will create a more central location and a practical use of office space to better serve the public.
"This move will bring all parking staff into one location and allow us to better serve parking customers." Katherine Donnelly, General Manager.
We welcome you to visit our new location in the Haymarket. Plans to celebrate the new opening will be announced soon.
New Bike Racks Installed
When gas prices continue to climb, so do alternative methods of transportation such as bicycling. We are delighted to have installed additional racks in our Center Park Garage and Iron Horse Lot to serve our patrons. There is no charge to use our racks if you are a current monthly vehicle parker. Please stop by our new office located at 850 "Q" Street to register your bicycle or call 441-6472 for more information.

Congratulations to Jodi Panko
June Employee of the Month
Jodi is recognized for her eagerness to share her "outside the box" ideas as well as being a master at customer service. There is never a stale mint in Jodi's booth. She recently helped implement many of the "stay green" paper saving ideas now in effect in our parking operation.
Jodi enjoys the daily interaction with her customers. One of her favorite memories is the day she was given flowers from a parker "just because". We celebrate her consistency to take the extra steps to please our parkers.
She enjoys reading in her spare time. Her favorite book is "Hines' Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hurnard. She has recently read "The Gospel According to Biff" by Christopher Moore. She didn't get through the first page without busting out in laughter.
We're glad to see Jodi smile and thanks for your terrific service.

Left to right are Thuong Nuynh and Dung Nguyen
Congratulations to Thuong Nuynh & Dung Nguyen
Both are Employee of the Month for July!
We first would like to congratulate Dung Nguyen. He is recognized for his positive attitude and dedicated service in our maintenance department.
He came to the United States 17 years ago from Da Nang, Vietnam. He first lived in the Philippines and Los Angeles before living in Lincoln. Dung has a wife and 3 children, ages 9,6 and 5. He enjoys Karaoke and taking his family to the Saltdog's games.
He mainly enjoys cooking Vietnamese cuisine, but you may catch him eating hot wings and a juicy American hamburger with all the fix'ns.
We appreciate his high spirit and energy to help maintain our garages.
In addition, we would like to recognize Thuong Nuynh for is fierce work ethic and positive spirit.
He came to the United States in 1991 from Da nang, Vietnam. He enjoys working in the maintenance department because of the diverse tasks involved with the position.
When Thoung is not busy working in the garages, he enjoys passing the mic around the room and doing a little karaoke to his favorite Vietnamese songs with family and friends.
We greatly appreciate him going the extra mile each day.
Capital City Ribfest
The City of Lincoln Parking Services and Development held a meet and greet booth at the 2008 Rib Fest on August 7-10 at the Pershing Center. Attendees filled out customer surveys, learned about our I-Park cards and football season passes. We enjoyed the opportunity to visit with the public by passing out water bottles, mints and tire gages at one of Lincoln's most popular downtown events.
Attention Haymarket Parkers!
We soon will be accepting transient parking in our current monthly Lumberworks Lot located at 7th and "O" Streets. The additional parking opportunity will be ready by mid September.
Please do not feed the pigeons!
Pigeons nesting in the rafters at Carriage Park have created a mess on cars and the pavement. Some patrons have been setting out bird feed, tempting more pigeons to stay in the garage.
Thank you for your cooperation.
