33rd from Holdrege to Madison Mill, Overlay and Storm Drainage Improvements

January 2017

Intent of Project

This is a drainage structure and pavement preservation project intended to improve the driving surface of the existing roadway. The need for the improvement is based upon information from the City of Lincoln’s Pavement Management System (overall condition rating) and visual inspections by City staff . Pedestrian curb ramps that do not meet current Federal and local standards would also be reconstructed to meet those standards under this project.

Scope of Work

The planned construction will include repairing or replacing deteriorated concrete base, curb, milling and replacing the asphalt surface. Other work includes replacing damaged storm drainage structures and inlet tops, impacted sidewalks, and reconstructing curb ramps to adhere to requirements set forth by the Americans with Disability Act (ADA).
