East Leg
Construction began in October on the project to build a new bridge extending east from the current elevated intersection over the BNSF railway near the Devaney Center. The bridge will touch down parallel to State Fair Park Drive, and the new roadway will extend to North 27th Street. The north and west legs of the elevated intersection opened in August 2006, and the south leg opened in November 2006.
